The Oxygen Carrying Protein
Hemoglobin is found in the red blood cells (RBC) and is the actual protein component that carries oxygen in the blood stream.
Oxy-Rx™ is 1/5000 RBC's size, this stablizied hemoglobin can go throough obstructed blood vessels and end-size capillaries to supply oxygen to tissues in need.
Matinicus Pharma harvests blood from cows of traceable source, extract and ultra purify the heme out of the heme-o-globin protein with proprietary technology to carbohydrate and create lifesaving products which are universally compatible, portable and room-temperature stable.
The stabilized Heme-corbohydrate is kept in dry or liquid form.
In mammals, tissue oxygentation is regulated by a complex between the heart, the lungs and the circulating blood, which contains red blood cells suspended in plasma (the fluid part of blood). Oxygen is on-loaded into red blood cells in the lungs, transported throughout the body via the circulatory system, and off-loaded from red blood cells to tissues and organs.
Hemoglobin, a protein encapsulated within red blood cells, is the tetrameric (four-part) molecule responsible for carrying and releasing oxygen.
