Mr. Rausch is the technology inventor for the discovery and manufacturing process for Ultra pure FDA / EMA approved hemoglobin solutions and blood-component materials, founded WTE II in 2014. He is a Co-founder of Biopure Corporation ("Biopure") in 1984 and served as the Chairman, CEO, President, and CTO from 1984 to 2002, Vice Chairman to 2005. Biopure grew to a market capitalization of over $1.2 billion USD in 2000 .Biopure developed and marketed Hemopure and Oxyglobin. Mr. Rausch developed and implemented the hemoglobin purification via highly efficient patented High Performance Liquid Chromatography that was used to manufacture hemoglobin oxygen carriers that are stable, non immunogenic and pure. From 2002 to present, Mr. Rausch has been a consultant and remained active in the field with a continuation of patents, publications and advisory roles, in the industry.
